CURRENT CLASSES - ENROLL NOW!

  • Beginning Weaving Class 1 & 2

    Learn to weave on a floor loom, having lots of fun along the way as you create your own cloth.

  • Intermediate Weaving

    This class is for students who would like to become a RIWC Studio Weaver, but would still like some guidance in choosing a project and yarns; dressing the loom and weaving.

  • Tapestry Weaving - Beginners & Intermediate Combined

    Learn and practice tapestry techniques. Open to students who have completed at least one Beginning Weaving class.

  • Tapestry Weaving - Intermediate & Advanced

    This class is for those who have mastered tie skills taught in the Beginners & Beyond class. Instructor consent required.

  • Beginning Rigid Heddle Weaving

    Learn basic weaving techniques while making a scarf on a small rigid heddle loom.

  • Spinning Yarn

    Want to learn how to spin your own yarn? This class will teach you the basics and have you spinning in a few weeks.

  • Kids Weaving 2!

    Let’s take weaving one step further together! The kids will be moving up from a frame loom to a  2 shaft rigid heddle loom. They’ll use all of their knowledge from Intro to Weaving to make a finished scarf in Weaving 2.

  • Kids Intro to Weaving

    Is your kiddo interested in experimenting in fiber arts? Kids will learn to create patterns and textures on their very own small frame loom.

  • Evening Weaving 101

    Want to learn to weave but cannot attend a course taught during the day. Then this course is for you!

  • Band Weaving Class

    SPECIAL KROKBRAGD SECTION - Create bracelets, book marks, trim, keychains and more using a small inkle loom.

  • Continuing Rigid Heddle Weaving

    This is the continuation of the Beginning Rigid Heddle class where you will learn new techniques and expand your knowledge.

  • Make & Take Dishtowels

    Try weaving! Weave a cotton dishtowel in just 3 hours while trying weaving on a floor loom. No experience necessary. JUST ONE MORE DAY THIS SUMMER.

  • Summer Weaving 101

    Three-day summer class - from design to weaving your first cloth.
