Beginning Weaving Class

9:30 – 12:30,

In a 14-week class you will learn to weave on a floor loom, having lots of fun along the way as you create your own cloth. Using yarns and looms at the RIWC, we’ll cover loom set-up, and all the ways color, patterns and textures add up to make beautiful cloth. No previous experience with looms or weaving is needed. The class is also designed for rigid heddle weavers who want to try weaving on a floor loom as well anyone wanting a refresher on basic floor loom weaving.
