Learn to design and make oversized (8”x 8”!!!) potholders together! Explore different patterns and color combinations on a Friendly Loom Potholder PRO metal loom to create a useful item for your kitchen or to give as a handcrafted gift. Potholders are a great introduction to the fiber arts, especially weaving. We’ll have cookies and a poppy playlist to shimmy to.

Donna Kay is a knitting instructor and designer as well as an accomplished hand spinner. Known for her patient teaching manner, she delights in sharing her knowledge and passion for folk traditions with her students. Donna has worked with Interweave, Harrisville Designs, New York Sheep and Wool Festival (Rhinebeck), John C Campbell Folk School, PLY, Spin Off and her company, Tree of Life Designs.
