Flower Pounding Workshop
Jaimee Roberts
Ages 4th - 8th Grade Students
Thursday Afternoon, August 14, 3:30 - 5:30PM
Join me, Jaimee Veronneau Roberts, to make a floral print cloth using beautiful, local flowers. First we’ll learn a little bit about natural dyeing and flower pounding, then we’ll lightly hammer flower petals onto fabric swatches. We’ll add some decorative fabric marker accents to create one of a kind pieces. We’ll spend 2 hours working with our hands to create an individually unique fabric swatch. Bring yourself and an experimental attitude!
