Our Spring Class OfferingsWe have 4 classes beginning in late spring: Eight-Week Floor Loom Weaving Class - The next section of our eight-week Weaving 1 & 2 Class starts on March 12. Our first spring section of the class is already underway with 9 weavers enrolled. The class is taught on Tuesday afternoons from 12:30-3:30PM. Once you have learned the basics, there are so many directions that you can go! Four-Week Rigid Heddle Weaving Class - Learn to weave using a rigid heddle loom. You will make a scarf during the class. The class meets three hours each week for 4 weeks, Thursday mornings from 10AM-1PM, and you may take the loom home between classes to practice. This is a great way to learn the basics of weaving and is very popular today. Class begins March 7. Four-Week Tapestry Classes - Our active tapestry classes meet throughout the spring with the next class starting on February 28. The tapestry classes are taught on Wednesdays, with the class for beginning students in the afternoon and the class for continuing students in the morning. Four-Week Band Weaving Class - There will be a special section of the Band Weaving class (also called Inkle Weaving) beginning on March 27. The class will describe Krokbradt techniques using an inkle loom. Inkle bands are suitable for bracelets, book marks, trim, keychains and more. Great for gifts!
